About

Dr. Amit Vij is a highly accomplished Paediatric Intensivist with over 15 years of experience in managing critically ill neonates and children. He has received advanced training in Paediatric and Paediatric Cardiac Critical Care from the world-renowned Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), University of Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Vijs clinical expertise encompasses the full spectrum of paediatric critical care—including complex cardiac cases, post–heart transplant recovery, neonatal emergencies, and advanced life support interventions. His professional journey includes key roles at premier healthcare institutions such as Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurgaon, and Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital, Ghaziabad, where he has contributed significantly to the development of high-quality paediatric critical care services.

Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Vij is deeply committed to teaching and mentoring the next generation of paediatricians and intensivists. His academic achievements include an MBBS from Mysore Medical College, DCH, DNB (Paediatrics), IDPCC (Gold Medal), and a Fellowship in Paediatric Critical Care from SickKids, Toronto.
