Dr Bindu T Nair is Professor of Paediatrics and a dedicated paediatrician. She believes in compassionate patient care and transformative medical education. Her dual commitment drives her not only to heal young patients but to sculpt the minds and skills of tomorrow's doctors. She is working with the ethos to bring a paradigm shift in medical education and shape the clinicians of tomorrow for better healthcare in the future.
She has 25 years of experience as a paediatrician and has worked in various hospitals of the Armed Forces as well as in civil hospitals. She has been a postgraduate teacher for the last 20 years & has been a thesis guide to many postgraduates in Paediatrics. He had been a PG examiner & thesis evaluator in many universities, e.g., MUHS, Delhi University and National Board of Examinations. She has been associated with the National Board of Examinations in various capacities for the last many years for DNB Paediatrics also.
Dr Bindu T Nair is an alumnus of Armed Forces Medical College, Pune and completed her graduation in 1992. She did her post-graduation in Paediatrics from Army Hospital (Research & Referral), Delhi Cantt. affiliated to Delhi University in 2000.
She has been conferred the GOC-in-C commendation card while in the Armed Forces. She was conferred membership in the National Academy of Medical Sciences for academic excellence.
She has published 45 research papers in various national and international journals and is also a reviewer for many journals.
Other than the NMC-mandated medical education courses, she has also completed the Advance Course in Medical Education and the prestigious FAIMER (Foundation for Advancement in Medical Education and Research) fellowship. She has also completed a 6-month course in POCUS(Point of Contact in Sonography). She has completed the NABH Assessor Course for Entry-level Certification for hospitals.
She has a keen interest in General and Community Paediatrics. Besides, she is passionate about Medical Education and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
