Dr. Gaytri Koley served in the Army for 12 years and did Post Graduation from Army Hospital Research & Refferal. Later trained in Pediatrics Cardiology from Cardio Thoracic Centre, AFMC, Pune. She has served for more than 20 years in Medical College working as a faculty and Pediatric cardiologist.
Dr. Gaytri Koley is managing the normal Pediatrics teaching and hospital workload and has special interest in Pediatrics Cardiology. The sub specialty OPD of Pediatrics Cardiology is run by her.
She is also interested in Yoga and Meditation and conducts regular Yoga breath and meditation workshops. She has been working on reducing stress and creating health and well being through these workshops.
Her first novel titled “And gently flows the Ganga” dealing with childhood issues has been getting a lot of acclaim and good reviews.
