About

Dr. Harsh Mahajan is working as Professor in the Department of Community Medicine, School of Medical Sciences  and Research, Sharda University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He completed MBBS from University College of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 2004 and completed MD (Community Medicine) from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi in 2009. .He has special interest in the field of Research methodology, Non-Communicable diseases and Maternal and Child Health. He has a total of 17 years of teaching experience and has been involved in the teaching and training of students belonging to various courses such as MBBS, MD, Nursing, MBA(Hospital Administration), Physiotherapy etc  He has been involved in a number of funded research projects including an international project on urban malaria funded by National Institute of Health (NIH), USA. He has also guided ICMR funded students research projects as well as guided post-graduate students in various research areas which need exploration for betterment of society. He has several research publications in various national and international indexed journals of repute. He is also currently involved as Supportive supervisor and External Monitor in the UNICEF funded project on Home-Based Newborn Care and Effective Vaccine Management (EVM). He is currently a member of the Reviewer Board for Indian Journal of Community Health. He has presented several research papers in various national and international public health conferences. He has been actively involved in organizing various national conferences, workshops, CMEs and community activities related to public health. He has completed several certificate courses in the field of Research Methodology, Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Non-Communicable Diseases.
