Dr Kabita Barua MBBS, MD, MIPHA, MIAPSM, MIAE, FI Diabetes, FI Applied Nutrition is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at Sharda Medical College, Greater Noida. She has done MBBS and MD from Gauhati Medical College, Guwahati and Senior Residency from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi. She has done a One-year Fellowship in Diabetes and Six-month Fellowship in Applied Nutrition from Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. She has more than nine years of experience in the field of teaching and research. She also worked as a Senior Research Officer in an international funded project. Her areas of interest include Geriatric Health, Non-communicable diseases and Nutrition. She has authored several research papers in various peer reviewed journals on topics of public health importance.
