Presently working as Professor in the Dept. of Biochemistry at SMS&R, Sharda University after my superannuation as Ex- Director – Professor, Dept. of Biochemistry at University College of Medical Sciences & GTB Hospital, Delhi.

Having vast teaching experience (About 40 years) of Biochemistry to Undergraduate and Post – graduate medical students in Govt. Medical Colleges.

Research
Actively involved in research on diabetes and cardiovascular diseases, Molecular biology and Medicinal plants. I have also isolated lead molecules for developing new drugs I have also guided several MD and PhD students and completed many research projects funded by ICMR, DST, INSA, AYUSH and UGC.
More than 100 research papers in National and International repute.
