Overview
A Ph.D. student will have to complete pre-Ph.D course work (duration 6 months) followed by research work under a supervisor, leading to the submission of a thesis. At the end of the course, the student will be able to
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of theory and existing research in physiology
- Synthesize existing knowledge, identify and access appropriate resources, and critically analyze and evaluate others’ findings to identify and design research questions in physiology
- Communicate research results in a manner appropriate to the scientific community
