The event is aligned towards the sustainable design environment that we are trying to build & be known for as a Design educational institution.
Objectives of the Event-
- The event will focus on certifications required to become a sustainable fashion company (manufacturer/ brand, etc)
- Certified companies (Indian & global) will be briefly covered, as live examples & benchmarks for reference in future.
- The event aims to build an ethical & responsible professional of the future by giving them practical know-how required to do so at the industry level.
Speakers- Ms. Harshita Chandra, Entrepreneur
Ms Harshita is the co-founder of "Upcycleluxe- where green is luxury". She has over 8 years of working experience in both tech & fashion for corporates in India, the UK & the USA. She also owns a home-grown label where she up-cycles & uses factory waste to manufacture bags and accessories.
She recently got selected with The Do school, Berlin on behalf of UN Women's industry disruptor, WeEmpowerAsia Program with Catia Dawood and Katherine Kirschenmann
