SSDAP in collaboration with Creative Thinkers Foundation Trust is announcing the “Puneet Monga Architecture Scholarship"

Sharda School of Design Architecture and Planning  (SSDAP) in collaboration with Creative Thinkers Foundation Trust is announcing the “Puneet Monga Architecture Scholarship" for Second and Third Year students of B.Arch. 
The scholarship is offered by Creative Thinkers Foundation Trust to commemorate Architect Puneet Monga in whose name the scholarship is being rolled out. The scholarship supports meritorious students of architecture in their tuition fee for two years of study.

About Late Ar. Puneet S Monga

A noble Charismatic and dynamic person    Puneet Sonal Monga  (Agnom Teenup )   was born on February 23, 1973.  He  did his schooling from  a well known  public school named Oak Grove School, Jharipani, Mussori. His love for sketching brought him to School of Planning and Architecture , Delhi in 1991.

A very creative person from early childhood days fond of music, drawing, painting, photography and  Hindi poetry. National Bal Bhavan premises was  his favourite place during summer holidays where his creativity was nurtured. SPIC MACAY another place for his love for Bongo. Expert in painting  expressive  human faces in black and white using all type of paints.  He had a collection of cameras and loved nature photography and his school building , friends   and teachers.   Reaching out to persons in academic and emotional needs was his characteristic. 

The Song has ended but melody lingers on.

To keep the legacy on the scholarships   is to motivate the  academic and creative talent.   

Scholarship Details

Every Year, FOUR students (two of second year and 2 of the 3rd year) will be awarded Rs. 50,000 (Rupees fifty thousand only) towards tuition fee for the Academic year offered (current 2022-23). 

Criterion for application would be:

  • 75% attendance
  • No Backlogs
  • CGPA of minimum 6.5
  • Statement of purpose of not more than 500 words

Shortlisting will be done by the “Puneet Monga Scholarship Committee” comprising of : Dean/Associate Dean, HoD, Representative/s of the Trust offering scholarship and mentors of the students applying for scholarship

A letter of award may be given to the students who won the scholarship at any appropriate event scheduled by the School/Department during the beginning of the Academic session
