"Fungal Awareness Week" from October 7th to October 11th, 2024

Department of Dermatology, SMS&R, Sharda Hospital is organizing a "Fungal Awareness Week" from October 7th to October 11th, 2024, aimed at MBBS, nursing, and pharmacy students. 

Objectives of Event

• To create awareness about fungal skin infections.
• To highlight risk of steroid abuse in Tinea infections
• Educate medical and paramedical professionals with the knowledge to recognize tinea infections, effectively counsel patients and promoting evidence-based treatment protocols.
