Hypertension & Diabetes screening and awareness camps in 7th February to 14th February 2023

Department of Community Medicine is organizing Hypertension & Diabetes screening and awareness campaign 7th February to 14^th February 2023 at the Catchment Areas of Rural Health and Training Centre (Panchayatan) and Urban Health and Training Centre (Bhangel).

Objectives:

To screen the adult population for the risk factors of hypertension and diabetes in the health camps.
To create awareness regarding Non-communicable diseases among the general population.
To sensitize the community regarding Noncommunicable diseases prevention.

The activities planned are as follows:

At Field Practice Area of Urban Health and Training Centre (Bhangel)

On 07/02/2023: Health camp to screen diabetes among the adult population by Dr Sanjeev and the Interns posted in UHTC (Bhangel) A Health talk on “Awareness about diabetes and its prevention” for the general population by the Interns posted in UHTC (Bhangel) under the guidance of Dr Meraj.

On 14/02/2023: Health camp to screen hypertension among the adult population by Dr Sachin and the Interns posted inUHTC (Bhangel) A Health talk on “Awareness about hypertension and its prevention” for the general population by the Interns posted in UHTC (Bhangel) under the guidance of Dr Himanshu.
