Department of Pediatrics organized an event Basic Newborn Resuscitation Provider Course (BNRPC) on 23rd Apr 2022

Event objectives

To impart hands on skill to the participants about the basic principles of the Neonate Resuscitation

Event Description:

• A hands-on workshop was organized on the 4th floor Demonstration rooms, A Block, at Sharda Hospital Building complex.
• The aim of the workshop was to impart hands-on basic skills for neonatal resuscitation. Performance Checklist (PCL) based training was conducted. Candidates have to go through the online course first & then get registered for off line skill based learning.
• Four different stations with eight participants each were set up and trained by certified IAP NNF faculty using mannequins and resuscitation equipment.
• Each participant has to perform the procedure independently as well as in groups to master resuscitation skills. Only then he is declared qualified. He has to Clear the Performance Evaluation Test(PET)
