Department of Physiology, School Of Medical Sciences & Research organized an event of Workshop on “Introduction of National Medical Commissions Common Yoga Protocol-Yoga training for MBBS Students” from 12 June 2022 to 21 June 2022.
Program Objective:
To implement Common Yoga Protocol (CYP), a standardized yoga protocol released by Ministry of AYUSH, India for International Yoga Day which includes all aspects of yoga i.e. asanas, pranayama and meditation.
To sensitise the students to National Medical Commissions 10 days Yoga training during Foundation Course in MBBS Course curriculum based on Common Yoga Protocol (CYP).
To achieve the health of students and community.
Program Description:
National Medical Commissions Yoga training module was introduced in Foundation Course in MBBS Course curriculum. 250 phase I Medical students were required to do Yogasanas for their health, for a maximum of 1 hour every day, starting from June 12, 2022.The entire initiative culminated on June 21, 2022, which is the “International YOGA Day”.
